Celebrate 125 years of golf in Orange and experience one of the finest regional golf courses, followed by grazing platters on the deck featuring the best of Orange’s artisan food produce and local cool climate wine.

Some of the world’s best golfers have played at Duntryleague, many with hickory sticks. Here is your chance to play our championship golf course, going back in time using hickory sticks.

On Friday 27th March, in conjunction with the Society of Hickory Golfers, Duntryleague we are hosting a 9 hole, 3-person Ambrose event.

The hickory clubs will be provided by the Society and each team of 3 will have their own clubs. Limited to 90 players it will be “first in best dressed”.

Registration commences at 1.30pm in the Dalton Room, followed by a Hickory Club demonstration and shotgun start for the 3 person team Ambrose at 2.30pm.

Afterwards relax on the deck enjoying the beautiful Autumnal trees on the course and celebrating FOOD Week by enjoying grazing platters featuring local cheeses, charcuterie, dips, fruit, olives and nuts. A short talk on the development of Hickory Clubs and presentations will conclude the day.
