The Sampson Street Lunch has a seating plan and upon booking, you will be asked who you would like to be seated with on the day. As ticket numbers are restricted per person, if you’re attending with another group who booked seperately to your booking, please ensure you note this through the booking process or contact us as soon as possible to ensure this can be accomodated. If you do not tell us you are attending with another group, we have no way of knowing you need to be seated together. Changes to the seating plan cannot be made on the day so plese ensure you contact us for any seating requests.
-
For the Sampson Street Lunch and Forage, dietaries are accounted for but only Vegetarian and Gluten Free. These events take place outdoors without fully equipped kitchens so catering to all dietary needs is not possible. If you have an allergy, please note this through the booking process or get in touch with us via the Contact Us page on this website. If you’re attending satellite events at other venues, please check with each event host regarding their dietaries policy.

There is limited seating along the 4km Forage trail. We encourage attendees to bring a picnic blanket or small fold up chair should you require seating throughout the day.

Forage takes place on active farmyard and is a 4km walking trail that traverses up and down hill. Enclosed footware is essential for protection and comfort.
-
Phylloxera is a devastating plant pest of grapevines in parts of New South Wales and Victoria. Once it takes hold, it can destroy entire vineyards. At the bus departure point on Lords Place prior to boarding the Forage bus you will be required to walk through and stand in a chemical footbath for a period of up to 1 minute. The chemical solution used in the footbaths is a simple solution of sodium hypochlorite (‘chlorine’ or bleach) and water, essentailly the same as pool water. If you do not wish to take part in the process, you will not be allowed to board the bus and take part in the Forage event.
Orange is currenly free of Phylloxera so this is a small part we can all play to ensure that remains.
-
There is limited shade along the Forage trail so a hat and sunscreen are essential. The weather in Autumn is generally delightful but it can change quickly, so prepare for sun protection even on a cloudy day.
