It has been 30 years since the Mortimer family first turned the soil at their "Chesnut Garth" vineyard and planted their first Chardonnay vine. 7500 vines and 5 varieties later the family sat together and shared the first bottle of Mortimers Wine, a very rewarding and emotional experience. 30 years on you will still find the Mortimer family proudly serving their wines at their Schoolhouse Cellar Door.
Join us as we open the gates and our reserve cellar for some sparkling and canapes in the vines followed by a banquet under the stars (or our barrel hall if it's raining). Each course deliciously served by The Sugar Mill will be paired with one of our finest reserved wines from the last 30 years.
