When you have five sons under 10 years old, you move to a “country space” and make then plant a vineyard! Keep them busy and tired – the best advice we have ever received.

25 years on, we have created a beautiful place for our family (currently numbering 19 with additions of wives and grandchildren) and guests to visit. We purchased the Old March school house 12 years ago (which just happened to be at the front of our property) and turned it into our cellar door. Quaint and eclectic, with a courtyard for sunny days and 2 cosy fires to tuck up next to on winter days. We welcome families to enjoy our playground as well. Often we have live music playing with Robbie (No. 5 son) and other local musicians. You can stay in our picturesque Canopy Loft or Vines Studio overlooking the chardonnay, or book a home through Tim (No. 3), who runs bnbmadeeasy.com.au, finding suitable short-term rental homes in and around Orange.

Above all, we make awesome wine! Winning the “best NSW shiraz” in the Great Australian Shiraz challenge (2018), and a trophy the year before for best Sauvignon Blanc at the Orange Wine Show. We feel our many years of nurturing and learning along the way, has paid off with our product. Sparkling Pinot/Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Sweet Riesling, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Cabernet and Shiraz and our signature blend Jules* can be tasted every weekend at the cellar door.
