CELEBRATING 32 YEARS OF F.O.O.D | 24 March – 2 April 2023
Orange F.O.O.D Week is Australia’s longest running regional food festival and has been acclaimed as one of Australia’s top ten food festivals. The 10 day community festival is being held from Friday 24th March to Sunday 2nd April 2023 and celebrates the Orange region’s diverse and high quality food and wine. It showcases the farmers who grow it, as well as the local chefs, cooks, restaurateurs and caterers that create extraordinary dishes with it.

F.O.O.D Week Night Market
A friends and family favourite with stalls representing the Orange region’s chefs, cooks, caterers, providores, wine, cider and beer makers, with a focus on the provenance of the local produce.
Join them in the park for a beautiful evening of great local food, wine, cider or beer, foot-tapping music and communal dining under the stars.
5.30pm – 8.30pm
Visit F.O.O.D Headquarters, the heart of the F.O.O.D Week festivities, at the Orange Visitor Information Centre, for current information about what’s on and where to go every day. F.O.O.D HQ special events include “Shining the Light on Local Producers” from 10:00-12:30 daily 4–8 April. Enjoy local producers’ personal success stories, taste their specialties and buy their products, all at the CWA Hall in Robertson Park.

Join our local producers in this special line up show, tell and taste workshops throughout the week of the festival. You will get to meet our wonderful producers, learn about their produce and enjoy tastings with a glass of Rosé

The Sampson Street Lunch
A long table lunch where people will gather under the Plane Trees in all their Autumnal glory. The Sampson Street Lunch is a unique celebration to be held in an iconic part of Orange on the first Saturday of F.O.O.D Week bringing together some of Orange’s well known and emerging young chefs. The F.O.O.D Week Committee will set the table, the region’s chefs will be in the kitchen, local produce on a plate and our vineyards in a glass. A truly amazing opportunity to continue the celebration of Australia’s longest-running regional food festival.

Join us for a weekend sampling Orange local food and wine, meeting our chefs and producers. Start with a light breakfast onboard then prepare to savour the food of the district lunch at Groundstone and an evening at Charred; Forage on Saturday; Sunday breakfast in beautiful Cook Park, and indigenous morning tea followed by lunch at Borrodell. Includes 2 nights accommodation.

Forage is on in 2022! Take a magnificent 4.1km stroll through some of Orange’s most picturesque vineyards and soak up the breathtaking vistas through to Mount Canobolas.
On your journey, enjoy a degustation menu of local wine and tasting plates with live music along the way. You’ll be accompanied by knowledgeable locals who can answer questions about our cool climate region.

Sunday Producers’ Market and Brunch
Join the final festivity for the week! Come along to one of Orange’s most spectacular settings in Cook Park to enjoy brunch prepared by well-known cooks and producers. Stroll the market to meet and greet with the producers’, taste and purchase their local produce and take it home with you.
Visit the F.O.O.D HQ tent and grab your lucky tickets to the Producers’ Hamper raffle – drawn at 11am.
