Foraging and Fine Wine

Join Rowlee and local forager, Robbie Robinson on the slopes of Mount Canobolas in search of edible wild mushrooms.

Robbie has been foraging for wild mushrooms for over 35 years in Australia, Europe and Japan, supplying chefs and restauranteurs with the highest quality seasonal produce. Under his expert guidance, you will learn how to successfully forage for nature’s bounty – gourmet wild mushrooms, growing in the cool climate pine forests around Orange.

After their foraging expedition they will head back to the vineyard to enjoy the spoils of their labour with a delicious lunch paired with Rowlee wines.

This experience includes return transport to the forest from Rowlee Wines, foraging under the expert guidance of Robbie followed by lunch at Rowlee. Please remember to dress for the forest and the weather!

They will meet at Rowlee at 9am for a 9.30am departure.
