2022 Special General Meeting Reminder
On behalf of the Orange F.O.O.D Week Secretary, notice is hereby given that a Orange F.O.O.D Week Special General Meeting will be held on Wednesday 16 November at 5.30 pm at Swinging Bridge Cellar Door.

At the meeting, the committee will be proposing an update to the current constitution.
To do so, the current F.O.O.D Week Association proposes a change to Clause 14 (4). Composition and Membership of Committee, Clause 20 (1) and Clause 22 (1)
In light of the increasing growth and activity of our Annual F.O.O.D Week Festival, the association is needing to expand the number of ordinary committee members numbers to enable the volunteer-run association to deliver the ever-popular events. We would also like to be able to utilise video technology such as Zoom to host meetings and allow committee members to attend virtually.

Clause 14 (4)
The constitution currently states: The maximum number of committee members including office bearers and ordinary committee members is nine (9).
The proposed change to the constitution is: The maximum number of committee members including office bearers and ordinary committee members is thirteen (13).
Clause 20 (1)
The committee must meet at least three (3) times in each period of twelve (12) months at such place and time as the committee may determine.
Change to include this sentence: It is permissible for members to attend via video technology.
Clause 22 (1)
Questions arising at a meeting of the committee or of any sub-committee appointed by the committee are to be determined by a majority of the votes of members of the committee or sub-committee present at the meeting.

To vote at the SGM you will need to be a current member FY22/23 of F.O.O.D Week inc.
