ORANGE F.O.O.D WEEK

2020 F.O.O.D Week Program

2020 Festival Program

Orange F.O.O.D Week is Australia’s longest running regional food festival and has been acclaimed as one of Australia’s top ten food festivals. The 10 day community festival is being held from Friday 27th March to Sunday 5th April 2020 and celebrate the Orange region’s diverse and high quality food and wine. It showcases the farmers who grow it, as well as the local chefs, cooks, restaurateurs and caterers that create extraordinary dishes with it.

ANNOUNCEMENT 13TH MARCH 2020

It is with immense disappointment that we announce that 2020 F.O.O.D Week Signature Events with capacity of 500 persons or more, along with the Autumn Grazing Dinner in Blayney will be postponed or cancelled on the direction from Australian Health Protection Principal Committee (AHPPC) to implement the ‘cancellation of non-essential organised gatherings of persons of 500 or more from Monday, 16th March 2020’. This is precautionary measure to slow the rate of transmission of Coronavirus (COVID-19) and to minimise the impact on the health and safety of the community.

These events include: Night Market, Autumn Grazing Dinner in Blayney, F.O.O.D Train, Forage and Sunday Producers’ Market and Brunch.

All other F.O.O.D Week Signature Events will continue as planned unless otherwise advised by the AHPPC.

F.O.O.D Week Inc. is working with all businesses and venues that are hosting satellite events to confirm whether their respective events will go ahead, be postponed or cancelled. We will continue to monitor daily updates closely and update ticket holders, partners and other stakeholders should circumstances change.

As many of the F.O.O.D Week satellite events capacity remains under 500 persons, we would like to still encourage people to continue with arrangements to attend and visit the Orange region.

Further information regarding refund procedures for ticket purchasers and stallholders will be advised next week. We thank you in advance for your cooperation and support of these measures.
